Despite the headline economic data driving a selloff in bonds and a rally in the POSX, the front month Comex Digital Gold contract made a new all-time high close today. We'll take it! And now we'll wait to see if we can wrap up the week tomorrow with more gains and a big green candle.
However, DO NOT FORGET that tomorrow is also NYSE option expiration day. Most mining shares and almost all of the major ETFs will have October options that expire and price at the NYSE close tomorrow. Last month, price just plowed higher with CDG up $31. Tomorrow? We'll see.
