Atter the Belmont
Thought I was done for the year ".... But intense Holiday a Belmont scratch was euthanized due to laminitis. Commissioner who wired the field and gamely hung in to lose by a long head has bone chips that must be removed. Sad, sad sad, to lose the last AP Indy last son. AP Indy is Seattle Slews most successful son and sire of sires. Both trained by Todd Pletcher who can add 2 more to his list. Thankfully for every one of his kind there are 20 or more of not his kind. This sport teaches everyone humility. Even Carl Icahn couldnt cut it and bailed.
