The actual currency in your pocket . . . is any of it more recent than 2009?

Somebody somewhere, I forget who, tipped me off to this. He suggested that I look at the fiat bills I had in my wallet and see if any were more recent than 2009. That was a few weeks ago. I had something like a hundred bucks in 8 or 10 different bills in my wallet at the time. I checked. Hmm. None of them were more recent than "2009 series". Some 2008's. Some 2005's etc.

But, no big deal. I mean, sometimes you flip a coin and get 5 tails in a row. So what? but I kept looking at the money in my wallet at the end of the day. It's been about 3 weeks now and probably more than a hundred 1's, 5's, 10's, 20's and 100's and I've looked at every bill I've gotten and I haven't received a single one dated more recently than 2009. It's past the point of coincidence.

So, I ask anyone reading this. Please look at the actual fiat bills in your pocket or wallet. Are any dated more recently than 2009 series?
