19th Century farming

Apologies if this has already being referenced.

Wife and I just finished watching BBC's "Victorian Farm" and are now watching "Edwardian Farm". There are two other relevant series, "Victorian Pharmacy" and "Victorian Kitchen Garden". In both Farm series the there historians live for a full year as Victorian and Edwardian era farmers, and explore some of he other careers of the time (Miners, Smith, Fisherman, etc)

In "Victorian Farm" they make constant reference to 'Stephens, 'Book of he Farm'". This book is public domain:

This book covers the best information you can get concerning animal care\selection, etc without using todays black box technologies. The TV series is internationally dense and well worth watching for preppers, or just for interests sake. Since I cannot suggest you look for it on torrent sites I won't. Otherwise, you still have access to book of the farm.
