Is it time for a third party?

Was watching one of the Sunday morning shows last week and was surprised to hear Dan Rather of all people predict that this would be an election where viable third party could well emerge. Organizations like https://www.nolabels.org/ and https://goooh.com/ have already attracted a lot of support. The biggest stumbling block to a viable third party in the past has been ballot access in all 50 states. Not many realize that this problem has been all but solved for the coming election cycle. The "No Labels" group in particular has already assured that any candidate they nominate will be on the ballot countrywide. I wanted to start a thread where members of the community can discuss the possibility of a third party candidate, and who they might support. One simple request: please do not dismiss the possibility WITHOUT first investigating the sites above.
