Question about a rare 1oz gold maple leaf

I recently bought a 1 oz random year gold maple leaf coin and received a double dated 1999 2000 coin with a fireworks privy. I searched a lot online but couldn't find much info about this specific edition. Wikipedia talks about this edition in silver bullion, but not in gold. This lack of info about this supposedly millenium edition has me a little concerned. So to all you gold experts out there, is this a valid rare coin?
