Gold Manipulation- Fact or Fiction?

Charges of manipulation of the gold and silver markets have been floating around for years.

Allegations that the Fed and/or JPMorgan manipulate gold and silver prices on the Comex and LBMA markets or that the London gold and silver fix bodies rig the markets persist.

Are these charges true?
